In this session we will discuss the unfolding of normal physiological birth; the stages of birth starting from pre-labor up until the birth of your placenta- reviewing what to expect, signposts and ways you can have the most optimal support given your unique preferences, considerations and wishes. 

We can discuss, explore and expand your ideal birth plan and vision. I will provide templates and education around some of the most common obstetrical interventions so that you can make an informed decision on what is best for you and your baby. 

We will also cover logistics such as ideal timing for a doula to accompany you if you choose to use one and when it is best to depart for the hospital or call your midwife for home birth.
